This will be my first solo build ever and will need some help to make sure all my parts are compatible and will have all the plug-ins, enough power, etc.

What I am looking for is a HTPC that will use Plex to stream to at most 4 other TVs, tablets, phones in the house. I want this PC to do all of the Transcoding as well. I want to have some room to most likely expand on all what this system can do such as stream outside my Network, possibly set up DVRing, set up some auto downloading of TV shows, etc. I don't do any gaming so I really do not have much use for a graphics card. This PC will be hardwired into the router and I will use the TV as a Monitor. All other TVs will use wireless to stream to. Did I miss anything?

This is what I have come up with so far. It might be overkill as I usually like to go bigger then I need because I would rather be safe than sorry, but let me know if I can downgrade any of this to cut some costs. I will be mirroring the WD drives for backup and want room to expand more drives in the future, hence the case I chose. Also do I need a CPU Cooler? Anything else you would change? This will be a Windows 7 Pro PC.

I was also thinking if this was overkill to have this for the CPU & motherboard
Intel Core i3-2120 Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz LGA 1155 65W Dual-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 2000 BX80623I32120
ASRock H77M LGA 1155 Intel H77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Thanks for any help you can give me!

Thank you for your reply! The reason I am not going with a mini-ITX case is because I want the 2 WD drives inside the box and room for 2 more as well as the SSD inside the case. Do you think the CPU is overkill if wanted 3-4 streams at the same time? Or could I get away with the i3?

Thanks!
