So I'm having a problem in the AMD CCC where it doesn't give me the enable crossfire option. (i am running the 13.8 beta drivers)
I have setup a XFX 7870 and A Sapphire 7850 each 2Gb, a Crosshair V Formula and a 850w Corsair PSU.
Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance :)

Strangely now the 7870 will not show up in CCC nor device manager...
The fans spin up though so it has power but it is a tight fit so I'll check the connections.

don't think there has been a update for the V formula in a while, yeah i'm on the latest one. Needed it for support of the AM3+ CPUs.
Oh and my PSU is 80 plus silver. 850w semi-modular.

Swapped them round and still the top card is showing in device manager but not the bottom one...
strange as if i swap it around the both show up but then i don't get any crossfire options.

Thanks for the help so far BTW.

Made no difference :/
Baffled to why it might be happening.

Are you able to run each card individually? Just to make sure you don't have a defective card.

In addition to the updated BIOS, make sure you have the updated motherboard drivers. I'm thinking there's a BIOS setting that needs to be enabled. Sorry if you've already been there done that.

The Bios has no option for it, what I've seen is that another guy with the same motherboard had them in the wrong PCI slots though mine are in the right spot he booted without a bridge connected and CCC poped up to tell him to install it, might try it tomorrow to test if it might trigger it.

just to see if its a driver issue grab driver fusion and 13.8 again.
uninstall current driver and dont restart.
run driver fusion and clean amd driver then restart.
install latest drivers as custom and only install display and hdmi driver and catalyst.

Yeah, just got the 7870 in the bottom PCI slot and booted it up and CCC prompted me that the drivers are not installed (i guess for that PCI slot) so im gonna try it now thanks.

EDIT:
after doing this the 7870 on the bottom slot is now showing up but only as a disabled card and still no crossfire option. Think its time to ring AMD..

Hiya mate, I'm suffering from the same issue with a Sapphire HD7850 1gb and a Gigabyte HD7870 2gb on an ASUS P8P60-M mobo (which is deifinitely capable of crossfiring.
Just wondering if you ever managed to solve the problem? Did you ring AMD? Could I get a contact number, I can't find one!
Thanks, and I hope you successfully sorted the problem =]
