I'm going to be purchasing a PC very soon with an Intel Core i7-4770 processor, 16gb ram, and a 23 inch monitor for my gaming computer that I will take with me to college.

However when customizing the graphics card, I've been torn on whether or not to go with the GTX 660 1.5GB GDDR5 or the GTX 670 2.0GB GDDR5.

I primarily play Starcraft 2 and I want to be able to play on Ultra settings. Is the 660 plenty strong enough for this or should I go for the 670?

Either card will be just fine, as Starcraft II is not a particularly demanding game. However, you should buy a gtx 760 instead, it is the price of a gtx 660ti and has the power of a gtx 670. You really can't beat that.

Thanks, I'll look into the 760 for sure, as long as I can play Starcraft 2 on Ultra for long periods of time I will be happy. For me the 670 was about $200 more than the 660, that $200 could go a long way if it can be saved.
