I have installed 8GB Corsair Vengeance (2 x 4GB) but it only displays 4GB's usable. I used to have a Geforce GT 610 2GB but I switched to a 620 1GB. Could that change the usable RAM? It isn't the RAM because I have tried 2 types. Thanks

What's the model # of the DRAM? Could it be 4GB total a 2x2GB set? Otherwise if it is a 2x4GB then sounds like a bad stick - pull one boot and see what it shows, then shutdown and try with the other stick, if both boot fine may be a bad slot or bad MC (memory controller) to that might pull the CPU and check it and socket for debris, thermal compound, or bent/broken pins

So I tried each stick individually and they both worked fine 4 GB. It's just when they are combined it flunks. Is there supposed to be a order because I just have them right next to each other.
