I want to build a gaming rig, but i do not know enough about PC components to build one intelligently which will fall into my budget of $1,200USD. If someone would be so kind as to pick the components and price it out for me i would greatly appreciate it.
EDIT
--Purchase date would be immedietly after i research everyones full build suggestions
--Budget range specified above : $1,200 USD
--System Usage: Gaming, Work, Internet surfing (streaming etc)
--Not buying monitor. 1200 is just for the rig itself
--overclocking:no?
--sli or crossfire:no idea what this is
--Monitor resolution: Most likely 1920x1080

--Additional comments: would like to have cd/dvd drive. Never a chance for over heating.

within an hour of a couple of the stores.

@mc962 i of course do not plan on buying anything without researching it first, but my issue is that i don't know enough about PC components to know which ones are even viable in the current market.

its about $10 over budget, but if that really bothers you then you could either drop down the power source to a lower model (like the HX) or get a cheaper motherboard (like ASUS P8Z77-V Pro)

if you want an ssd then you could add it in later pretty easily, there are like 9 hard drive bays in that case

you could also knock a fair bit off the price by looking for deals, like cpu/motherboard combo deals at microcenter (sabertooth is only part of a haswell combo bundle), and i think newegg has deals often
