Hi Community,

I built a computer a few months back and had no problems until the other day. When I went to turn on the computer it would repeatedly turn itself on and off after a few seconds. Occasionally it would not do this but give me no signal to the monitor. I removed all the parts and put them back in and got it to work for a day. I was playing games on it for a few hours then shut it off. I came back a few hours later and the same problem occurred. Help me!

Thanks

Hi
I would start by diagnosing my add-on cards, VGA, network, ect...

Check for loose power cabling.

Check your HDD's health SMART status will give you an idea of the condition of your hard disk, a dying hard disk is kind enough at times to give you a warning before going to HDD heaven.

Hope this helps

Im pretty sure the card is good and other parts. I talked to someone at asus and he said it is the motherboard. Is that something that could be causing this?
