Hi guys/girls!!

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Soon BUDGET RANGE: <400 CAD

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: watching movies, playing games (probably the next battlefield if possible with existing computer), emails, surfing net etc.

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: ATI radeon 4870x2 hd AND corsair 750

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS: intel i7 920 2.67 AND 6 gigs RAM (I think g-skill). I have the cooler master LARGE case so room isnt an issue. several caviar blacks for storage (still no HDD:(

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg.ca (canada)

PARTS PREFERENCES: preference for ati because it's all I've used and I think the battlefield series had difficulty with the other cards no ? but I'm not an expert and I'm not picky.

OVERCLOCKING: maybe/ no crossfire or sli though (my true gaming days are over:)

MONITOR RESOLUTION:1920x1080

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: running windows 7 64 bit. I havent had any problems with the 4870 it's just that it's way too loud. I've been manually slowing the speed down to 60 using catalyst but it's still too loud for movies. I'm afraid to push it lower due to very high temps. Basically I want the best I can have with the system I have as I don't want to update the rest until 2015.

What do you think?
