Is It Possible That Games In The Future Will Use More Cores And Hyper-threading?

Solution
U must be reading that people say that "theres no need for eight core there is no game foreseable future that could even utilize 4 cores at their full potential"
This statement is UNTRUE

Even present games like crysis 3 utilizes full 6 cores of phenom ll 1090t so u ll need a eight core for future proofing
This is the reason that future consoles like xbox1 and ps4 wuold be having 8 cores

Get the 4770k to be more future proof if ur budget allows
Its the best u can get

Hmm, that is true. An APU only has 2 CPUs and 6 GPUs (or is it 4 and 4). Right? Knowing that makes needing more Cpus less important, but then again you have to remember that games for consoles are ALLways fully optimized (if not fully optimized to the max performance they do optimize as close as possible) to run on the "special architecture" APUs. Or am I just plain out wrong about everything I am saying here? haha. You also can lower the in game settings to console quality, and get similar performance. (This was typed my a man who knows not to much about the future of cpu and gpu innovation or whatever)
