You could add a GPU like a gtx650TI or an hd7850.

A bigger HDD would also be nice.

He does not need to crossfire. Buying a single better GPU is always better than hybrid crossfire. A 7870 will be MUCH better than any hybrid crossfire.

Remember that depending on what you upgrade, you have to watch your psu. 430W is not much, so I would recommend going for like a 600 or 650W, depending on what you are upgrading to.

Yes, a single 7870 would maxed out BF3, if not, just turn down AA and he'll be good.

Yes, but you will need a 500w PSU. And download and install the AMD catalyst control suit and the appropriate drivers.

Yes, but if have not yet bought a PSU, get a 500W or above PSU.

Yes. 500W at the least, and try to get 80+ certified, if not bronze or silver.
