  1. This would probably be the best if you have a strict budget.

If you can spare a couple of extra bucks, I would recommend going with this one.

He said AU (which is Australian so)

Thats the best one peformance wise for your budget, Otherwise if you like AMD you can go for a HD 7850 but the GTX 660 has much better peformance.
  3. gtx 760 - $250 this might be slightly more than 250aud after converted though
gtx 660 - $190ish. i recommend this card if you cant spare extra budget beyond 250aud

In what way do you mean that? Like before their outdated or how long the actual card will go for eg: 3 years. The warranty is for 2 years, if thats what you mean
  7. will it play games at reasonable res 720p 1080p for a few years like 2
  8. 7870 vs 660 superclocked

i think the card will do nicely for gaming at least for 2 years to come. unless something unexpected happen like 4K gaming suddenly be the rage, which is very unlikely.

Hmm.. well, They only have 1 version of the GTX 660 and its definitely not the best one cooling/overclocking wise, I recommend going to the website I told you about before, But it depends what state your in? eg: NSW
  12. gtx660/ti or 7870.

thats where you'll find the cheapest pc parts in Aus.
Theres a cheap msi 660ti there for $239, that is your best bet. the cheapest 760 is over $339, and performs similarly to the 660ti.
