I have always wondered if the fx-6300 with a stronger gpu really has that much performance and which of these two would be more future proof in maxing games like bf4

probably the 6300 with the 760. Or you could do what i did, get the better cpu, and a lesser gpu. then when you get some money buy a second gpu for sli. You cant upgrade cpu's like this, so for me, it makes sense to get a better cpu first and a decent gpu, then add another gpu later. Dont run dual AMD cards though, their crossfire solution sucks. AMD have released a driver fix for their crossfire problems, but it adds more cpu overhead and lowers overall performance in order to remove stuttering.

I've also heard about all of the crossfire problems but supposedly when the next gen consoles come out they will me more toward amd's favour in gpu and/or CPU which is why I have also considered it. Is it also possible that the fx-6300 could run the 760 in sli? And if the next gen amd CPUs are on the fm3+ then it should probably in my favour.

Next gen cpus for amd are am3+. Also, AMD payed bf4 to optimize their game a little to amd's gpus. But if you have a nvidia gpu you wont see that much a differnce. If you want to max bf4 out, the 760 would probbaly beat the 7850 at it.

In most games yes, but a couple games that would be an exception to that rule would be skyrim or starcraft II (among a small selection of other games), which are more cpu bound, and they particularly favour intel cpu's.
