There is nothing you can guarantee future proof but thats a good choice.

I'd go with a Z87 ASRock Extreme 6 and an I5-4670K. A bit more future proofing as the processor and motherboard are the newest and have nice features.

They come out to just about exactly $400 together.

that's LGA 1150 right? what about LGA 1155? i read some post that people said LGA 1155 is 'dead'. is that true?

If you don't want to upgrade for 2-3 years any socket will be dead when you want to upgrade, but yes 1155 is dead in the way there will be no more CPU released on it. Its unlikely there will be any higher models released on 1150 either so you could consider that dead as well.

That's a good combo. Talking about dead or alive attributes of 3570k [1150] the next lga to come will also be dead in some time. So buy whatever suits your needs not caring about the future. 4th gen has no significant improvements over the 3rd gen. And 3570k is a beast. Ivy overclocks better everyone knows that.
Also MSI>ASRock any day.

i'm thinking about MSI Z77A-GD65 Gaming. what the differences with Z87 anyway?
arghhh.i'm having headache right now , thinking what's the best motherboard for me.
it's really hard sometimes. because it's the most important thing in PC,huh?

btw, when MSI Z77A-GD65 has been released? tried google it. but no good result.

That board was 1st sold on Amazon.com 2nd April 2012. The main difference between Z77 LGA1155 & Z87 LGA1150 is the socket they cannot use the same cpus, Z87 also has more USB 3 & SATA 6Gbit/s ports.

"Future Proofing" depends on your expectations.

While pretty dated now, my C2Q Q9450 handles games pretty well for a 2008 CPU. The Radeon HD 5850 is not longer considered a high end performance graphics card which was released in Q4 2009, but it's still pretty good.

I think u rather take the a 4GEN Mobo like MSI Z87 G45 / CPU like i5 4670K if you want it to last for as long as possible.. The price isnt't much of a difference in my country or do you realy need that Thunderbolt..?
