Hello everyone; i'm having a bit of a dilemma here. Both cards are roughly the same price in my country (Around 175 USD) and i'm just wondering if you could help me choose and tell me which one is a better deal overall.

Thanks :)

Solution
The cards are about equal in performance, so if you get twice as much memory for the same money with the 650 Ti Boost, that's what I would pick.

At what resolution would you be gaming? If its 1080p, the extra 1 GB VRAM of the nvidia would be helpful, moreover in benchmarks the 650 gtx ti boost proves to be better by 2 - 5%.
The 7850 is a better overclocker.

The nvidia has physx, so not much load on your CPU for calculations, and gtx 650 ti boost supports SLI...

i'm playing at 1680x1050 res and i currently have a hd 4850 1gb which i haven't overclocked much (i'm not an overclocker type of a person lol) and it served me pretty well but i decided that i should get an upgrade of the whole pc and picked the gtx 650 ti boost as the gpu replacement. Btw since it's fabrically overclocked i won't even need to oc it myself.

Thanks for the replies :)
