I want to buy cooler for i7 4770K. I am using simple stock CPU cooler with fan. I dont know the name its not mention their on CPU cooler but Intel logo is there.
I think my CPU has overheating issue. It suddenly shuts down. After cooling down it starts normally. But again while playing games it shuts down.
I dont have any specific budget, the cooler should avoid this overheating problem. Which cooler should I use for this problem. And can you give me list of best CPU Coolers so I can choose from it of different budget low mid or high. And if possible it should maintain my CPU temperature below 50 degree.
And do I need any cooler for graphic card.
Planning to buy ASUS GTX 760 DirectCU II OC 2 GB

And my configuration is:
Intel 3.5 GHz LGA1150 Core i7 4770K Processor
ASRock Z87 Extreme 4 Motherboard
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 GB (2 x 8 GB) PC RAM (CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10)
Samsung 840 Pro Series 128 GB SSD Internal Hard Drive (MZ-7PD128BW)
Seagate Barracuda 3 TB Desktop Internal Hard Drive (ST3000DM001)

Solution
These are all good aftermarket cooling solutions below $50
Xigmatek Gaia
Cooler Master 212 Hyper EVO
Thermalright True Spirit 140
Arctic Cooling I30 Freezer

Under $100:
Noctua NH-D14
Phanteks PHTC14-PE
Thermalright Silver Arrow

EDIT: Check your case specifications. You want to make sure that the cooler will fit in your case before you actually buy it.

This is a strange thing.
Usually stock cooler is enough to manage heat from a non O.C. processor.
Have you overclocked?
If you want the best air cooler go for Noctua NH-D14, is the very best you can have ;)

I have heard that some of the stock Haswells are having throttling issues with the stock cooler. They usually were produced from a specific area, but I can't remember which.

Download some sort of temperature recording software, like HWMonitor, Speedfan, Core Temp, or whatever you want, and get a hold of Prime95. Record your ambient temperature, and see what your thermal readings are at idle and load. That will help deduce the issue.

for an air cooler i would go with a hyper 212 evo, this is the best air cooler in my opinion, its cheap and it does the job. if a water cooler i would go with the swiftech h220 or the h100i, but the h100i is better. you can adjust eht pump on the 100i and it cools better. get either the hyper 212 evo from cooler master or the h100i.
