Fsb should be higher or lower when u buy processor ?

the recent intel processors's FSB are 100 Mhz

but my old intel core 2 duo laptop processor has 800 Mhz FSB ..

whats the difference ? how your FSB should ? lower or higher ? what FSB is at first ?

That are 2 different number.
FSB (Front side bus) * Multiplier = Frequency :) 
FSB is always 100Mhz for the system 800mhz maybe is the frequency of ram or the frequency of a very old cpu :)  (fsb 100 * 8 = 800Mhz)
