How do I know if I used too much thermal paste?

Hi,

So I already built my computer and I am browsing and downloading. The temperatures are from 26 C min to 34 C max. is this a good sign of good thermal paste application? I am running i7 4670 k

Looks good. At stock, the 4670K runs cool. When you overclock, you can go up to 70c during a burn test.

did you put a new cooler on? All stock coolers that come with a CPU already have paste on them and no more is needed.
