Catalyst won't open

Hi,

I intalled Catalyst 2 days ago which has been working fine. Today I decided to install the Beta one and after that Catalyst won't open. I tried to delete Catalyst but I get an error message saying, " Application uninstall: uninstall package failure."

I tried to do a system restore but after restarting the computer it says that system restore could not access a file and thus, no settings, etc were changed.

My Win 7 computer was prompt to update Catalyst to 13 something version and it installed all files but failed graphics driver. I did not try to open it yet- must be something wrong with this update. Try to install it again, see what happens.

I get a successful install but it still won't open. Catalyst is running or something from looking at the task manager.

I found a solution. I did a system restore but I had to uninstall my antivirus program to successful restore it.
i'll give Astralv best solution as she tried to help me out.
