I cant decide between these two boards. It seems like Asus did very well on their motherboards this time around. Here's the kicker. I could get the UD5H as a combo with an i7 4770k from Microcenter for $429.98. Thats $149.99 for a $200+ motherboard. Is it worth it to spend the extra $70 or so to get the Asus Hero? Its gotten great reviews and I think it might be worth it since the Gigabyte hasnt. If any of you are curious here is the build I intend to be purchasing in September.

Solution
So far the Maximus Hero has taken everything I have thrown at it. Tried umpteen different setups, and it recovered from all the bad configs. I can get my 4770k up to 4.5ghz with only a few settings changes, but it runs too hot, so I run it at 4.3Ghz.

100x45, 1.35v core, Vin 1.9, LLC level 1, 100C under full load, Corsair h80i
100x43, 1.25v core, Vin 1.8, LLC level 1, 80C, under full load, Corsair h80i

With your cooler you should be able to do better.
