WD Blue 1TB @7200 RPM vs Green 2TB @5400 RPM

I'm looking for a secondary storage drive where I'll keep all my movies, songs, pics plus some games, even though I may use my SSD to keep the ones I'll be playing the most. Am I going to see a difference in performance (especially in games) between both drives? I know the blue has a faster RPM but I've read that because platter size is bigger on the green drive it may level things between both.

If it will mostly be used for storage, I'd recommend the green drive as a few extra seconds of waiting on a game load level is probably worth the savings in cost. If you were to use it as a boot drive or strictly for gaming, then I'd say get the blue.
