I've had this laptop for almost 2 years, it always worked fine up until several months ago. I didn't change any hardware, and haven't upgraded the OS.

HP G62-355DX
AMD Athlon II 2.2 Ghz
3GB DDR3 ram
ATI Mobility Radeon HD4250 video (internal) w/
15.6" LED, 1366 x 768
Win 7 Pro SvcPack1
FireFox Browser

Text will go sketchy whenever it wants, especially in internet browsing.

I've already gone through multiple attempts to adjust "Clear Type" settings, all to no avail. Same with screen resolution settings, tried several variables, max native, etc. no change.

If I scroll up and down, it'll sometimes clear up the line I'm trying to read, but THIS IS ANNOYING !!

I don't think I've seen my shortcuts or web address box sketchy, just the actual browser screen.

(no, it's not my prescription, the text is garbling)

Thanx.

Let's see if I can attach a screen shot...

So its only happening with firefox, then first uninstall firefox with this software : http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

and also remember to clean the registry values, then install the latest one. See how it works. And install the Java for firefox.

Did you install the software I provided. If so, then open it you will see a button "REGISTRY" on the left pane. Click it, and click "scan for issues" button. It will search the registry and list you the unwanted things. then you have to press the button "fix selected issues" That's all.
