a8-5550M VS i5 2450M/3210M

Hi guys, im looking at an HP Envy with a8-5550m and 8000 series graphics + 8750M

VS.

an hp ENVY with i5/3210 and gt 740m

Very light gaming, very light office work, no photoshop, no editing stuff, mainly school, movies (Going with a FHD screen).

The i5 is $100-150 more expensive.

I've looked at benchmarks. they seem to be similar, how is battery life for both processors? what would be pros and cons of each?

When I clicked the GT 740m link. The benchmark showed that 7750M is faster? Then shouldn't an 8750M be faster than GT740m. But then again when I clicked 8750M, it showed that it's slower than GT 640M.

Just one more question. Is a i5 2450m with HD 7730M better than the A8-5550m/HD 8750m

and doesn't the A8 and HD 8750m do some sort of "Dual graphics" like SLI

I do not agree, graphics comparison actually shows that some games can better be played on i5 and Nvidia 740m but other games can better be played on A8 with radeon graphics. Overall there might be a slight advantage for i5 but it is by far not justifying 100-150 dollars extra!
As for the processor links you gave: there are no benchmark results for the A8 yet at this time so how can you compare the real processing power?????
