Hello Experts,

I need expert suggestions how to handle the relentless problem I am having with my Windows 7, Ultimate, x64.

The problem started about a year ago, error box appears while running Photoshop x64, then I tried installing CCleaner and despite solving the problem it accelerated. I have many warning in every session. Few samples are attached to this post.

Here are the things I have tried to resolve the problems;

1. Repair install Windows 7 using Bootable DVD

Result: Didn't work (followed all the instructions to the word from this very forum)

2. Reinstalled programs giving me the errors

Result: The warnings presists

3. Tried to upgrade Windows 7, sfc/scan and Microsoft troubleshooter

Result: Gives me various errors, won't upgrade at all

4. Installed C++ Redistributes

Result: Problem Presists

5. Tried to install SP1 for Windows 7

Result: Installer won't finish installing.

I appreciate any help regarding this. Any tools that I might have to use and show result here, please let me know, I just do not want to fresh install Windows 7, if there is any possible way to get rid of this misery, thanks in advance.

Kind Regards
Xebecs

IMO the only hope -- and it may be a faint hope -- that you have to avoid a clean install at this point is to do a repair install like THIS with an image of Ultimate x64 SP1 from HERE and then activate with your key. You will have to do the Windows updates since SP1, but data and programs will not be affected, although you should always back up your data just in case.

With all that you have done, I would just bite the bullet and do the clean install though using SP1.

The "upgrade" you tried to do is not really an error. You can't install 32 bit or 64 bit Windows over one another without a clean setup.

A new Windows installation is by far the best thing to do here, you have way too many errors, although some look to be because you installed or tried to install some things not made for 64 bit Windows 7 so you are getting file issues. I don't trust registrly cleaners like what you ran, while for the most part they do OK, there are times where they make things a lot worse.
