I'm looking for advice on my first build, I had another thread open but changed enough on my own that I decided to make a new thread. I have 3 builds I'm considering, with small variations between them.

Sapphire Vapor X 7970 GHz Edition

GTX 760 with SSD

GTX 760 SLI
http://pcpartpicker.com/user/FastGunna/saved/27jN

I do not plan on over clocking within a year unless necessary. If I get a single card I want the option to SLI/Crossfire in a year or 2. I want to play games like Planetside 2, Battlefield 4, Far Cry 3.

Are there any parts I should change such as Motherboard, PSU, Case? My max budget is 1400 but I'd like to stay as far below it as possible without sacrificing quality.

Assuming I don't over clock in the first year, would I need an after market CPU cooler, and does the Hyper 212 come with thermal compound?

I might wait till tomorrow to order but I am hoping today.

I checked ur mobo and PSU i think u are going to be fine , u might wanna change the PSU to 850 watt to be safer . I suggest going for the 2-way SLI gtx 760 build and why dont u add an SSD in that build too? U are still under the budget .

If u want to sli u might have to upgrade your PSU , also before using SLI/Crossfire make sure ur motherboard supports it . If u dont plan on overclocking the stock cooler will be fine . I would recommend going for dual gtx 760 than dual 7970 as there are some drivers problems in AMD that will make ur graphics card to be unstable

Also wasn't planning on dual 7970 within a year, by the time I would actually do it there may not be a driver issue and if there is I would just get a new single card.

Because I'm realistically aiming at a 1200 build, the SLI 760 is just above that and an SSD would put it up to 1400. I also want room in the budget for shipping and tax.
