Okay I'm having a really weird issue, that I find hard to describe as well.
The problem is , some games like gta 4, bioshock infinte, mafia 2, battlefield 3 etc crash and then, other applications like chrome, utorrent, games , windows media player start to mis-behave . They face both audio and video problems, or simply crash or both. The crash happens randomly while playing games, sometimes even at pause screen.
My rig : (Nothing has been oc'ed)
Phenom II X4 965 BE
Zotac GTX 550 TI
GA-78LMT-S2 (rev. 1.1) motherboard
Dynet 4 GB ram
Corsair VS 450 (single rail version)
Seagate 160 GB hard disk
Running windows 7 ultimate 64 bit
I've tried following suggestions in the past to recover the problem.
1)Changing my video card from Sapphire 5770 to gtx 550 ti
2)Fresh windows install
3)Deleting everything, re-installing drivers, scanning for viruses and shit.
4)Running memtest for checking any faults in ram
5)In nvidia control panel, selecting gpu as physx processor.
6)Windows update, framework update.
7)Crying hard and praying
