Try the ASUS RT-AC66U router. Install the Merlin build (firmware). download here: http://www.mediafire.com/asuswrt-merlin/
Read about it here : http://www.lostrealm.ca/tower/node

IF you use PIA (Private Internet Access) as your VPN then check out this link to help set up your router as a VPN router using PIA.

Just remove the "auth-user-pass /tmp/password.txt" line from step 8 under the Custom Configuration part and stop after Step 17, and it will work fine. Removing the above line saves you the hassle of everything after step 17
