Got a brand new Y410p which came with win8, wanted to downgrade to win7 because ive been reading there are many problems with the laptop and wina. So i got a windows 7 download from my university site for free and had some problems installing it. Contacted Microsoft and they were able to install it using remote access. The version that got installed is Win 7 Professional but it didnt come with any programs and i think most of the drivers were missing. I had no wifi drivers at first and MS Support helped me get them from the lenovo site. Now im not sure what other drivers im missing. I cant seem to locate my GT750m video card anywhere. Also, when i go to change my screen resolution, i only have 3 options, 1600x900, 1024x768, and 800x600, but i checked when i still had win8 and i had a lot more options. Plus the display name is Generic PnP Monitor on Standard VGA Graphics Adapter. Any suggestions?
