I'm looking for a good LGA 1150 Motherboard

For SLI and water cooling\OC setups, look no further.

The Sabertooth and Maximus V Hero have more ROG oriented looks, but are very similar to the Z87-PRO, which is a superb board. They will get the job done and run SLI beautifully. The Sabertooth Z87 IIRC has very strong parts and a longer 5 year warranty. It all really depends on looks TBH. If you would prefer a cheaper board, go for the Z87 Extreme4, Z87 Extreme6 or Z87-PLUS, those work very well.

Those are some nice looking boards Q6660. I've been eyeballing that Sabertooth board. I'd like it if they'd come down on the price a bit. That would probably be the most I'd spend on a motherboard.

Yep, I have never really seen the Sabertooth boards drop down in price, ala, Sabertooth Z77 price not dropping. The Sabertooth brand has gone a long way since X58, where it was a very good alternative to the P6X58D and P6X58D-E. It is more high end these days. What is the full specs of the proposed system?

Another board you might like: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157377

I would go for the Sabertooth Z87, and perhaps use black RAM like this that blends perfectly with the color scheme http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233525

I'll probably get the Sabertooth Z87 in the end. I'm just trying to justify the prices of everything. I like how The Asus Sabertooth Z87 has two motherboard fans for additional cooling as I will be using a custom water loop.

It does have super strong "military grade components", your excuse right there. Just add Fastropes and Chinook helicopters.
