Hello, I am wondering what sound card would best suit my needs, per the moment I have an Asus DGX. It works better than onboard but my intent was to replace it, however I'm not sure what with. I will be using it for music and gaming. I have HD700 by Audiotechnica, and some cheapish logitech 5.1 speakers. I want a dedicated amp on the card as well as being able to run my speakers. My budget is 400 max.

i dont think that sound cards with amplifiers on them exist 
. you will need an external amplifier to run your speakers (if your logitch doesnt have an amp on them..i doubt that it hasnt 
) Best solution: dedicated sound card (asus xonar or some Creative) + AVR + Speakers.

Meaning an amp for headphones. The speakers run fine on the current card, my headphones don't.
