ok here we go.

My specs:
Amd athlon II X2 250
Sapphire Radeon HD 7750
a 300 watt dell inspiron 570 psu
5.60 gb of ram
a dell inspiron 570 mobo i think its called Dell 4GJJT could be wrong.
1080 lcd 23' monitor

I need to upgrade my psu to be able to upgrade my cpu.
But anyways that's if my psu doesn't work magic. I'm asking for one dominant 450 watt psu for as cheap as you can get it. minimum is 40$ max is 100$ I'm asking because idk where to start.

Then I want a really good quality cpu that will at least! give me a 15 fps boost in games like Skyrim ArmA 2 teso and Rome total war. The cpu has to fit into my mobo and operate under 120W. Also the cpu has to be under 100$
The best you can squeeze out of my is to take a 5 or 10 dollars. If you make me happy ill reward you with a great big fat BEST SOLUTION sticker to post onto your trophy room.

cool! that's a nice straight answer you've locked in my cpu but are you sure that's the cheapest you can get for a psu? I've heard about a lot of forums saying that they got their's for sub 50$

Don't go that cheap on the PSU it's the heart of your system. The PSU in my post , is made by Seasonic , best in the business.

Ok ok I'm just trying to get the most bang for my buck. Can you give me 3 550 watt max.? If that's too much could you tell me what psu you have? And are you sure the one you recommended fits on my mobo cuz tht'll be fatal if i make a mistake. Its a Dell Inspiron 570 stock mobo.
