As an administrator run this script at the command prompt and tell us the results:

sfc /scannow

Hi, it said it found corrupted files and fixed them. I tried the updates straight after and it gave the same errors. I'm presuming I should have restarted after running the scan? Will try that if necessary.
Update: I have tried this and still the same.

It's a useful bit of software that is. I think if other people use it they should know that you must click continue until you get to the point where it requests folders to be created. Create these folders so the software can download the updates into them and then make sure you click Download. Then you can simply navigate to the download folder you created for the program and double click each update. Thanks again evongugg.
