Hi all,

I am new to this forum, and I was looking for some help with a homemade PC. I have looked through a few older posts to gather some information about the topic but any further help would be greatly appreciated. I have just finished finding a setup for a homemade system, and was wondering if I could have any help as to whether this setup would work or how I can improve it.

Thermaltake Chaser A71 full tower
Corsair vengeance CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9 12gb
Intel Core i5 4760
MSI Z87-G45 Gaming Motherboard
MSI GTX 770 gaming edition
Microsoft Windows 7 home
premium 64 bit
samsung sata black internal dvd rw drive
Samsung SSD 120gb
Toshiba 2TB 7200rpm hard drive
Seasonic 750W power supply

Also, is making your own system particularly challenging? From what I have heard it isn't, but I would just like to double check that.

Thanks, pcpccp.

Solution
Just do one thing, swap out Core i7 4770 with Core i5 4670K and use the rest of the money on GTX 770 instead of GTX 760.

Also change the Case to Fractal Design R4 if possible. This one is certainly overkill as Full Tower is not needed for Homemade PC. A good Mid tower is a much better and cheaper option.

You might also want to change the PSU to XFX 750W Modular 80+ Bronze Certified? That one is much better in build quality since its manufactured by Seasonic.

Everything else is pretty good and yes, making a PC for the first time is a very challenging task provided you don't have enough knowledge about it. If you have seen videos on youtube on how to do it or read a few guides before or have someone to guide you about it, then its all...

Thanks girogalllas. I was not planning to over clock my pc because I didn't really consider it necessary for what I was planning to do and I would also have to buy another means of cooling. Thanks for your quick reply.
