zotac gt630 2gb graphics card- pc does not start

i have Compaq Presario SR1930IL Desktop PC
with these specifications .-->

and i just got a zotac GT 630 2gb graphics card --> http://www.snapdeal.com/product/zotac-gt-630-2gb-ddr3/217149?pos=0;55

i removed my inbuilt graphic card and inserted my new one but my pc does not starts...just the fans are starting....after i removed my graphics card it worked properly..i have checked my psu requirements and i fulfill it..
pls T_T help me out of this or my money will be wasted

I think that your card is bad then. You should return it and get a replacement.
You say you removed the other graphics card. Did the system come with a graphics card before? If so are you plugging it in the exact same spot?

If you didn't have a graphics card in that slot before, the slot on your motherboard could be bad and you should try another one if you have one available. If it did work before, chances are that the card you bought is simple a bad card. That happens from time to time. Companies can't check every unit and sometimes they end up with a bad one. In that case you are best off to return as defective and get a working one in return.
