hi. im trying to throw together what will be my first ever build to play the day z mod and arma 2/3. the thing is i need it this month due to starting uni in sept and ill be using it for my work.

so far i have this build.

my thinking behind this build is that it has a decent enough psu and an am3+ mobo so that next month i can buy an fx 8350 and then upgrade the gpu down the line when the 9000 series come out

my questions are: is this a feasable upgrade path.

will i get playable fps on day z?

is the mobo and psu sufficient.

theres no way i can go intel. my budget is far too tight at the moment. i have around 50 head room, but would like that for games.

other than that any improvements are welcome.
thanks for your time.

Help!!!

wow the fx 8350 has dropped by almost £20 in the last few days. on friday it was 150. thanks for your input avilash. but 550 is my absolute max this month. thing is i will have the same to spend next month. its just i cant wait. so as long as it runs arma 2 and day z. but has to be under. 570 and id have my build but no arma co! :-(

Your right. SSD would be nice but not a neccesity right now and it saves me messing around with a new processor next month. everything else can stay and it would still come in under my phenom build by a couple of quid. i think im going to go with this exact build minus the SSD. I can buy one of them and save for a few months for a 1440p monitor and a better gpu when i see what the 9000 series are offering. Thanks a lot dude.
