Hey!
Today my package arrived for a Mushkin Enhanced Redline 8GB (4x2) and I was anxious to install it. Opened the door for my pc and replaced the ram, however I was greeted with a continuous beeping for about 3-4 seconds. After that the PC shuts off, and does the same thing again. I googled it and I came to the conclusion that it's probably the BIOS, so I took out the new ram and put back my old 4gb stick. However, it does the same thing- It beeps and then shuts off, rinse and repeat. My mobo is a Gigabyte H77, my processor is an i3 3rd gen, and my old ram is a crappy kingston 4gb. The Mushkin RAM is PC3, if that has any significance.
Any help will be appreciated! I need to get back to assassinating templars in Boston ^_^

take out the rams , then take out the battery for 10 secs at least to let it discharge , then put back the battery and the new ram should work , but u will have to set the date and all ur bios settings again

Do you mean the power supply? I unplugged my pc, removed my old stick of ram that i had inside, held the power button for about 10 seconds, put in the new ram, it did the same thing as before- beeping a lot and then shutting down. I said fuck it, i'll probably get a refund or a return or something from the company. I removed the Mushkins (redline, not sure what the model number is but ill just type in all the numbers i see lol: Above the barcode: PC3-14900. Next to that it says 9-10-9-27. Upper right corner it says 997007.) and discharged it again. Put in my old one stick 4gb kingston ram, plugged everything in, tried to boot it but it still beeps and shuts down.
