Hey guys, I'm basically a newbie and the thing is my one and half year old hp dv6 was getting extremely hot, so I gave it to a repair shop to get it cleaned and re-pasted, but now my temps are like hell.

On idle it's like 55 to 65 C. :(

I ran an ORTHOS small ffts test and my temps hit around 95 C.
Also I've never OC'ed it.

It's got me quite worried, I'd greatly appreciate any solutions.

Thanks

Is your fan spinning? Sounds like the "repair" place did a crappy job. I always test and usually show customers before and after temps.

Yes, the fan is running, a lot more than it usually does.
