hi guys Im planning to buy a haswell i5 4660k and im moving from a Core 2 Quad Q8400 do u think i can get a better Cpus im terms of price/ performance. Its mainly for gaming but also i want a silent rig. Thank you all

Go with 4670k, it's only like 220. Although I'd drop some money on a nice cooler. I went with a H100i and I love mine, was easy to install, but you could grab that cheap 212 Evo from Cooler Master and that should do the trick for you.

i would go with the i5 4670k, its not much of a price difference, and it provides better performance for gaming, the i7 4770k is more of a editing processor, an i5 and i7 will do the same exact thing with gaming performance. for the silent rig i would go with a hyper 212 evo from cooler master or a 100i from corsair. always choose a best answer! people really appreciate it! :D

What about a mobo , Msi , Gigabite or the Extreme4 From Asrock ? Would really appreciate your answers , also im planning on add 16 gb ram with the Geforce Gtx 770 . The cooler 212 evo seems cool.

i would go with an asus motherboard, msi motherboard, or an gigabyte motherboard. if you have about 150$ to spare for a motherboard i would go with an gigabyte or an msi because around that price point there good for gaming. if over $200 go with an asus no doubt.
