Hey friends! I'm looking for a little help from the good people at TH. I'm getting ready to upgrade my current TN Panel (Dell ST2410) to an IPS display. I've had a desire to upgrade for some time now purely for the better color accuracy and viewing angles. I'm kind of torn right now between two panels, the Asus PA248Q and the Dell U2412HM. From looking at various reviews and comparisons between the two, these seem to be very popular choices in their specific price category. I'm a little new to the world of IPS displays and have had a hard time finding what truly differentiates the two. I know the Asus monitor has the USB 3.0 hub, which is very nice, but i'm not entirely sure I would get too much use out of it. The one thing I did like about the Asus is that it comes pre-calibrated, which sounds great for a newbie like myself. It just seems like the Dell is a very solid monitor too that has recieved a lot favorable reviews as well and is a few years older than the Asus. I'm sorry if this has been discussed at length on this board before, I'm still new to the community here. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm sure both are solid monitors and I would be satisfied with either one, I'm just interested in hearing the opinions of people here too.

Thank you very much for looking, I suppose i'll just go with the PA248Q for now since it's readily available on Amazon, thanks for all the input and i'll keep an eye out for the one you recommended.
