Well, if you have no hesitance spending all that money, it is a good idea. Will serve you for a long time.
I rather doubt that. Someone who already wants to upgrade a pair of 770s to a pair of 780s will probably be looking at the next greatest thing in a few months and want another upgrade.
I dont mind paying the difference, just wish it was the acx cooler instead of the reference and figured the 780 would help me to keep up with the nezt gen alittle longer. Or will it not make a difference?
I would just SLI a couple EVGA GTX 780 SC w/ ACX http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CUIVSNS/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B00CUIVSNS&linkCode=as2&tag=b0b929-20
Remember I'm using the evga step up program so I can only get the reference card otherwise I would have went with the Sc. Paying the price difference is a ridiculous amount for the reference like I said but I wish it had the acx cooler.
Dont get me wrong the 770 classy sli is amazing but a 780 sli just sounds even sexier. I love my eye candy
Just don't forget that even the reference 780 has a Titan+ cooler on it
Not to familiar with the titan cooler but I know it has the titan pcb which is why I wanted it. Also just found out the 770 classy has a waterblock option.
