Upgrade to Ivy or Haswell

Hi,
After not having time/need for the past couple of years to be around the PC too much...now that I'm back to want (games) and need (photo - and some light video - editing, autocad, streaming) to use it almost daily - I see I have to upgrade my old PC (I'm still on an old slightly overclocked E8400...)

I've started to get some parts (each on deals) - got a 256 SSD (Samsung Pro), 8 GB GSKill Sniper and Hyper 212 EVO.
Main thing that I can't decide between IvyBridge and Haswell - the main "path". At least in Canada there's almost no difference between CPU's - and only very small difference for MBs
For video card - I would have liked for once (after having only ATI) to try an NVidia - GTX 760 comes to mind.

I'd want to keep my Antec 900 and my PCPower&Cooling 750W
I already have OS (Win7 or 8) available.
Right now I have an IPS 1680x1050 monitor but I will mostly go with a higher resolution (1920x1080 or 1200) in the near future. Not sure about multiple monitors but...maybe?

Any suggestions for CPU+MB combination, video card, additional HD would be greatly appreciated!

Solution
you mentioned you wanted to keep your power supply. due to power saving features on haswell, they need new power supplys. unless yours is certified for haswell already, check that before purchasing anything.

Thanks - any recommendation on specific boards? (I'll chose a "Z87" for overclocking capabilities - don't need extreme overclocking though). As CPU - was thinking the i5 4670k

Thanks. Checked on OCZ website and....it's not on the list. That really hurts as it has been flawless for almost 5 years now...

Yeah, sure - I thought maybe I can push it for a couple more years at least (I heard disabling some C6/C7 states might help?).
If a new one - well that adds to my other questions - MB, GPU, HDD?...and now PSU

you can go ahead and use your old psu, i have a haswell build running on an oldie, but that's me and i wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. as far as motherboard, i usually use gigabyte or asus, whatever you can afford z87 wise from them is decent if you're not going to extreme on the overclocking.

hard drive, that's up to you as far as size goes. if you want an SSD, ive been happy with intel drives (for reliability), but i know others have good luck with other brands.

and then a GPU, again, depends on how much u want to spend. i havent looked at gpus in a couple months, but toms has monthly guides to what the best bang for your buck is, so check them out.

I was thinking of an ASUS-Z87 PRO...not sure if the "A" version is not enough.
I mentioned I've got already and SSD on the way (for the OS and some of the games) - I was asking of which regular HDD for files (Pictures, games, movies, streaming, etc). I always went with WD Blacks - but now I'm reading they fail somewhat more often (even if they have warranty - it's not a good sign). Didn't trust Seagate in the past...
GPU - it has to be max ~300 tax in - that's why I was thinking a version of the GTX 760
