Hello people,

I made a huge mistake and i need your help because i can't find any on internet.

As a fool, i've added 1080p in Catalyst Control Center just to experiment and now i can't see anything, my display shows "uncompatible mode". Obviously my screen doesn't suppor 1080p, only 1080i.

I've already uninstalled the driver with "DriverSweeper" and reinstalled it but it seems to keep the settings.

I've tried "Small resolution mode (640x400 or somehing like that) but it doesn't seem to work, it only shows the "welcome" screen on that resolution but goes "Uncompatible Mode" after it.

I desperately need you to tell me how to access Catalyst Control Center settings from "Safe Mode", because i can't access the program since the driver is not loaded.

Please help me!

Don't...

I've found the folder and the profiles file, i've deleted it but it doesn't seem to help. Please, i don't know what else to do. I need to restore the resolution and the refresh rate but i can't see how!

What i've already tried:

-Uninstalled Catalyst and drivers.
-Cleaned with Driversweeper and CCleaner (registry)
-Deleted the Catalyst "profiles" file.

Please, i'm desperating.

I solved it.

Between the desperation and the anger i forgot to use the head.

For anyone else who is experiencing this problem do the following:

Go in safe mode and practice the "change resolution" process only with the keyboard. Write in a paper the key secuence to set the minimum resolution.

Remember that in normal boot mode (in difference with safe mode), when you press right-click on the desktop the option "Gadgets" could be added, so consider adding one more key pressing.

Should be something like:

Right-click on desktop, three arrows up, ENTER, TAB, TAB, arrow down a few times, ENTER, TAB, TAB, TAB, TAB, ENTER.

Doing this you can save hours and neurons, without uninstalling anything.

I hope this helps someone.

Thanks to those who tried to help.
