I recently purchased a Seagate bariccuda 1tb and a pioneer blu ray/dvd optical drive off amazon. I noticed the power and SATA cables didn't come in the package. Do some companies give you them and others just leave you to buy them seperately. Now I am thinking I may have to buy them myself. Anyone know if I can find the power and SATA cables for both drives, in store (more prefered or online if i have to) at walmart? Are they cheap?
I also recently noticed I didnt get an hdmi cable (or any cable for that matter) with my video card but I dont expect that to come with it. I have a monitor on the way, so would some sort of video cable to plug my card to my monitor to come with my monitor? Also I have my psu on the way shipping and maybe that would solve the missing SATA/ power cables because the might come with that.
Someone please enlighten me on these topics, it would be greatly appreciated.

Most HDD's and Optical drives do not come with Sata cables. These are usually provided by the motherboard maker. If you need to purchase them Walmart is not the place you will find them. You will need to go to a computer store like Best Buy or your local PC shop to purchase them locally But you can usually find them cheaper online.

as stated before the Sata power cables come on/with the PSU.

P.S. My Seagate Bariccuda 1TB did NOT come with a Sata cable and it was boxed.

Sata cable , if Boxed yes ,if oem or bulk no , the power cable comes from the powersupply .

Eh for 6 bucks for 2 for the SATA I looked at I guess thats ok. At least the psu will come in a manufacturer's box and I will receive power cables for both. And since that Ill probably have to buy an hdmi myself since i purchased the monitor from amazon as well.

I was talking about the Optical Drive .. you dont need to "NOT" ...

No offence intended and was not directed at you personally. But having bought a drive from the same company and knowing that the company does "Not" send the Sata cable in the box, the info was intended to let the OP know that at least one cable will be needed.

For future reference you should be more specific on what you are referring to. There was no way to know that you were referring to just the Optical Drive. Not all Optical Drives come with Sata cables in the boxes even though they are boxed and not OEM/bulk. This depends on the manufacturer and what they feel should be bundled in the box.

No audio cable needed. you only need 2 cables total. 1 sata cable and 1 power cable. All data and sound will be transferred to the motherboard by the sata cable.
