h100i ambient temps

non overclocked 3570k with a newly installed h100i

i get 45 - 50 C ambient temps with ~27 C room temp

i have the 2 stock fans installed in a push config

this seems really high for an h100i

100% load gives a 90 C and up temps

If you take off your cooler and see that the thermal paste is not evenly spread on the cpu, then the heatsink isn't making good contact. One thing I had trouble with when installing my h100i was the backplate. I installed it incorrectly the first time and everything went to h3ll. I'd suggest completely disassembling everything and putting it all back together, making sure to tighten all the screws w/ a screwdriver. That helped me.
