I want to overclock a i7-3770K with a Cooler Master 412S on a GA-Z77X-D3H. Is that a good board to buy or should I get something else. I don't want to get too expensive and I probably will only overclock to max 4.5GHz if that's possible. Is the board good enough? Thanks!

Yes it is. I have that board and it has served me well, OCing my 3570K to 4.7GHz, and RAM also.
