So I just got a new wireless card and I have been having problems with the wireless speeds. People on the reviews of this wireless card (PCE-N15) said they got just as much speed as a wired connection so on and so forth. But my problem is that I do not get anywhere close to that. My question now is, are there any drivers or anything that I can do to get better speeds? I also have a MI424WR router from verizon. Is there any chance that the router might be bad or that I need to more the router (From the other end of the house closer to me)? A reply would be helpful.

Thanks,
Blacklex

Us FiOS people have to stick together....:)

I think the answer is moving the router to somewhere more central. All the way across the house brings multiple blockage issues. Walls, kitchen, other electronics...
Also, some of the ActionTec routers are capped at 20mbps for WiFi. But since you're not even getting near to that, distance/blockage may be the issue.

I am paying for the 50/25 and I am getting 58/25ish wired. I get about 3-5(usuallly on the lower end)/1.24. Also I would like to thank you for all your help on my threads, you have replied to just about every one of my threads so far :)

Thanks,
