So I've recently made a new build. Initially the motherboard I received didn't boot up, so after testing all the parts 1 by 1 with my old pc I concluded it was either the mobo or CPU. I RMA'd the mobo, and when I received the new one I breadboarded it and it worked. I installed windows on it to test for issues on the hard drive, everything was perfect.

So I install it into the case, and it wouldn't start up. I checked all the connections multiple times and finally I decide to remove it from the case. Now it won't start even when I breadboard it. I inspected the mobo for a possible short circuit but nothing seems fried, wtf did I do?

I've never encountered so many issues before and I've built 4 pc's in the past.

Solution
sounds like static electricity hit the motherboard, RMA it and say it was DOA you'll get a replacement no question asked.

always pick a best solution! people really appreciate it! :D
