I bought an Asus CM1740 and am trying to put my hard drive into it. At first I tried just putting the hard drive in. I've also tried a lot more since then...
I am getting two errors: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA and IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. The page fault error is more prevalent. I still have it up, so here are the technical codes at the bottom:
STOP: 0x00000050 (0xFFFFFA8000F400000, 0x0000000000000001, 0xFFFFF80000CE82139, 0x00000000000000002)
I have tried two different hard drives -- both 160gb SATA (not sure of speed, sorry). Both yield the same errors.
I was thinking it was the memory -- but cannot seem to get memtest going. I'm going to try again after I post this, but yeah. I will also pull a RAM stick and move them around and see if that helps...
I don't know if it is the memory, because -- thinking it was the old copies of Vista and Win7 on the hard drives Iwastrying to use, I used an old Windows 2k Pro CD I had to format and install -- and *that* seems to run OK?
