What is better for the AMD FX-8350 and Radeon HD 7970 Ghz Edition:Asus Sabertooth 990FX or Asrock Extreme 3 990FX?

Solution
I was contemplating before between Arock Extreme 9 and Sabertooth R2.0.

Good thing I chose Sabertooth.

The 12+2 power phase design of Extreme 9 is actually 6+1 times 2 while you get real 8+2 on Sabertooth.

I also read on forums that Sabertooth has more solid overclocking performance than Extreme 9 and I can atest to that. I am currently OCed at 4.5Ghz while letting the mobo handle the CPU voltage (Auto) and it handles it very well. In fact, the only things I set manually are multiplier and BUS.

The Sabertooth also has better heatsink for northbridge and vcore components.

The extreme 3 should not be considered since it only has 4+1 power phase design.

I don't have any personal experience with Asrock mobos, but I've never had any issues with Asus. I just bought the FX-8350 and am running it on an Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z board. So far it's absolutely amazing. If you're looking to build a gaming rig, I highly recommend the Formula-Z unless you need the more durable TUF setup that the Sabretooth has.
