need help overclocking my AMD cpu

i have an asus M2R32-MVP motherboard with an amd athlon 64 X2 dual core 6000+ windsor cpu i went in the bios and the multiplier is at 15 and the FSB is at 200 thats with the bios cpu settings set to auto i tried to have my uncle overclock it via the bios but he mentioned something about the multiplier being bad when i asked him what he ment he said it seemed like some one else had tried yo OC the cpu before and screwed it up idk can some one help me try to overclock this cpu also if the overclock doesnt work will i be able to at least get in the bios to reset the default cpu settings if the overclock fails or will i have to reset the bios via the mobo bios jumper thanks im new to this btw

Try taking it up to 220, and add a little voltage to the vCore (CPU voltage) and see

the voltage is already at 1.4 the max my board can handle

Give it a try, if that's not enough will be an OC fail and revert to defaults
