Battlefield 3 FPS Drops

Hello, I have a gtx 670 ftw and I am getting some drops in my framerate on Gulf Of Oman. It will dip down to the low 40's in heavy battles and tanks blowing up in my face. It is very annoying because it makes my gameplay look very laggy. Do I have a bottleneck in my system?

Specs:

Intel Core i5 3350p @ 3.7 ghz OC

EVGA GTX 670 FTW 2gb

8 GB RAM

Rosewill HIVE Series 650W

500GB HDD

Windows 7 64 Bit.

It is. You may just want to play with the graphics settings a little. If you don't care about quality all that much, then i would recommend running everything at low except for mesh quality and shadows. If it's really bugging you, you could throw in 2x AA, just to take away some jaggies.
