I added another 120 Hz Monitor because it's just as cheap as a good 60.
SSD and Fast RAM are great for recording, capture card is preference(Or Software eg Fraps), I'll let you choose. Keyboard is also preference as well as mouse. I use those two but if you type frequent, get a mechanical of your choice.

I guarantee the system should be quiet, cool and run things very beastly. Cheers. If you need anything else please ask.

That one is under my budget. I would like something more extreme. Atleast i7 Cpu as I will be doing lots of editing and rendering.

He specified that multiple places were an option, he could've gone to my link and found the TigerDirect prices. Water cooling is probably gonna be a better option. Those monitors are okay, but The BenQ are way better for the money. Faster Ram will benefit him between recording and editing, that specific SSD is meager in power and old. Green drives are terrible because the variable motor kills their life span. Home Premium is silly in case he upgrades RAM, Pro is worth 20 bucks versus 50 later to upgrade.

Killer Gaming Build, but sounds like this guy really wants to get into recording and editing. Those minor changes would benefit him.

Here is my TigerDirect Version (sorry for the original Inconvenience)

That other Monitor is IPS, so better viewing angles and better non-gaming. The BenQ is expensive from TigerDirect but after using both the Samsung and the BenQ, I preferred the BenQ by far. Also BenQ has an in depth gaming community with added support for that monitor.

For Capture, Fraps will kill Framerates, but is cheaper. I recommend an AverMedia Card. They Rock.

After all of that, you're still within the budget. Hope this helps more than my last post. Cheers.

That motherboard was relatively cheap but agree a lower one would be sufficient and I was unaware you could get a semi-custom loop for that price. +1 on that loop.

oh ok. I disagree about the ssd (it's not old) though it may not be as fast as the 840 pro but in my experience it did not really show and he wont be writing to the OS drive very much anyways. the sandisk is perfect for an os and a few programs as it has fast read speed.

oh and that build is missing prices for the ram, case and case fans as they are not available on tiger direct.

this is my version of your build but with available parts. I had crimp on the seccond monitor to make the budget. if you are going to do fraps you'll want the game fraps recording to two different HDDs or maybe run the game on the ssd and fraps recording to HDD
